Henry Chuc (1968-    ) is a singer of dance, hip hop and pop music who had first risen to prominence with overseas Vietnamese audiences in the early 1990s.

Born on January 5, 1968 in Vietnam to parents of Hoa descent, Henry Chuc came to the United States at the age of 11.  From early on, he had developed a keen interest in music and took up playing the drums while attending Verdugo Hills High School in Los Angeles, California.

 In 1991, Henry Chuc entered a karaoke talent contest sponsored by the Chinese-American community of Southern California and won first prize.  His prize winning entailed an all-expense paid trip to Hong Kong.  After returning from his trip to Hong Kong, through an introduction of a family friend Henry Chuc landed a job singing weekly at a nightclub called La Citéin El Monte, California for two years.

 From there, he went on to becoming a regular performer at the prestigious Ritz Nightclubowned by legendary musician/p
