Sanjay Kumar Jha (also known as Sanjay Jha; born 1 December ) is an Indian politician, Rajya Sabha MP, National Working President of Janata Dal United,[1] Leader of JDU parliamentary party in Rajya Sabha and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture.
[2] He served as Minister of Water Resources and Information and Public Relations departments in Government of Bihar[3] He was also Member of Bihar Legislative Council.[4][5][6] In February he elected unopposed as Member of Parliament (India), Rajya Sabha to Janata Dal (United) in place of Bashistha Narain Singh from Bihar.[7]

Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha was born on 1 December in Araria Sangram village, under Jhanjharpur block in Madhubani district.
He is Post Graduate from prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Un
