Umberto Eco: A Multifaceted Italian Scholar
Umberto Eco was an Italian scholar, philosopher, medieval historian, semiotics specialist, literary critic, and writer.
Born in 1932, he spent most of his career as a professor at the University of Bologna, where he became one of the most brilliant humanists in Europe.
