Ronald Aylmer Fisher was a British statistician and geneticist important in developing the use of statistics in genetics and biomathematics.

Biography

R A Fisher's parents were Katie Heath, the daughter of a solicitor, and George Fisher, of Robinson and Fisher a firm of auctioneers in King Street, St James, London.

Katie and George had seven children, four boys and three girls.
